As we celebrate thirty years of ministry, here are some thoughts from a few who want to testify of the IMPACT this ministry has had in their lives:
Carmen: This is year I had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Director of Nunemaker. At first I doubted my ability to handle this responsibility, but I realized that if this is what the Lord wants me to do then I will take on this challenge. I appreciate the staff and my Section Leaders for their support and the campers for looking up to me and giving me a chance to really show them how much I love this retreat. AND of course to God for guiding me and for putting me up for the challenge.
Joanne: "The retreat has always been a place where I combine nature and community to get closer to God. The beauty of the retreat center together with the people makes this experience an enrichening spiritual journey for me."
J.C.: "The Annual Youth Retreat holds a special place in my heart. It has allowed me to become a special part of God's ministry to children and young people."
Yolie: "The Annual Youth Retreat impacted my life to serve the Lord in simple, humble but significant ways to our children and young adults. I am grateful to God for giving me long lasting friendships and relationships (my honey, JC) which have truly been blessings in my life."
Victor: "Renewal, transformation, joy, peace, love, friendships-formed, fellowship, and Spirit-filled are words that come to mind when my soul, mind and spirit reflects upon the retreat. For all these years it has been that point in the year where visions are made clearer and energies renewed."

The Personnel or staff at the retreat are an integral part of this ministry. The AYRPC recruits individuals from various congregations who have demonstrated a commitment to the devlopment of this ministry and who are actively involved in the church. The Personnel Ministry team recruits individuals to serve as counselors, Bible Study leaders, kitchen staff, Health Care provider, arts & crafts instructors, evening speakers, and day care leaders. More information regarding our Retreat Staff: Section Leaders and Bible Study Leaders click on "Groups" on the linkbar and click either "Retreat Staff" or "Section Leaders". Resources are also found in preparation for the retreat!
The development of the program is a key ingredient in providing a solid, enjoyable, and edifying experience for campers ages 10-18. Our Program Development Team examines the various opportunities where our children and youth can enjoy this fresh-air experience. This team is responsible for coordinating the recreational events during the day and worship/social experiences of the evening.
